Now, the company takes its popular Jawbone Jambox and expand it to a bigger size called Jawbone Big Jambox. The Jawbone Big Jambox is 2 times larger, 4 times heavier, and more powerful speaker. Its design is still the same with all control buttons on the top but there is additional supporting legs underneath the box and its body is securer.
The Jawbone Big Jambox’s main key features are built-in microphone for chatting and video conference. Because it is a big version, battery life gives longer time of 15 hours than its original size, as well as 33 ft wireless range, including an ability to be paired with 2 devices. So you can now fill not only a room but the whole house with music or take it with you for a large party. At Amazon.com the Jawbone Big Jambox sells at $299.99, added $100 more from its original Jawbone Jambox. It is pretty good deal from what it offers and I think that the quality is still the same.

Just released, another quality sound system by Dr. Dre, the Beats Beatbox by Moster is large Bluetooth enabled portable speaker system with dock for smartphone. The Beatbox comes with 3 speakers (1 bass, and 2 mid range speakers). There are 2 advantageous features I think could beat the Jawbone Big Jambox. First, the Beatbox has built-in dock for smartphone. This is a plus point for some who need to charge while playing music but some might think it is not necessary. Second advantage of the Beatbox is that it can be paired up to 4 devices at the same time. More people can enjoy sharing their music and use online music service via their devices. However, 2 extra features comes with $100 extra. The Beatbox sells at $399.99 @ Amazon.com. I think it is quite expensive for a portable speaker system. And I would not want extra devices to be paired and dock station with an extra $100.
Personally, I prefer the design of Jawbone Big Jambox to the Beatbox as well as the Jawbone Big Jambox seems more solid and well built. So which one would you choose?
